2011:
The Year of Radiotherapy
Radiotherapy cures more people then chemotherapy. Shortages in staff and equipment means some people are missing out on these vital treatments. CRUK collected over 36,000 signatures all asking the government to make sure the very best radiotheapy treatments are available to everyone who needs them.
The petition was handed in to Downing Street on 3rd November 2011 and we will be working hard in 2012 to make sure Radiotherapy continues to be an important part of curing people of cancer.
